It’s been a while, again!

Today, I would like to talk about something that has been happening on LAH lately. Namely, cluttered posts.

When I first designed the file-posting rules, and something wasn’t right, it got mercilessly deleted. However, with time, me and the mods have been pretty forgiving.

Those rules are taken pretty lightly these days. Per example, we leave posts that do not have passwords added there. And recently, we have been pretty tolerant towards people who were embedding sample pictures as IMG tags, not attaching them. At least, if the content posted was nice.

But frankly, it’s slowly getting out of hand. There have been several reports about our users getting annoyed from the flood of hentai anime posted in Angels Hentai Downloads.

And, really, some of them not only have no passwords, there are not even any screenshots or samples, or the sample is on some obscure site that has ads and malware on it. That certainly isn’t what we had in mind, and it’s getting stupid.

So in short, what are we going to do about it?

My general idea first is to update the rules to enforce that every upload MUST have an attached sample/screenshot. Uploads without one, or with one that is not attached, will be deleted, and the poster will be informed per PM.

Secondly, some people have been posting 3 episodes of one anime in 3 separate threads. I think it is really not necessary and it should be enforced that multiple episodes of one anime are to be posted in one thread.

I am still looking for a solution to properly deal with this, so if you have any ideas we could use, post them here as a comment or onto our suggestion forum.

As explained in the announcement post, there has been a new addition to LAH.

I know this is just a totally small thing, but I think it kinda helps categorize our downloads. Besides, it’s been pretty long since the last improvement

Some people have been asking for separate sections, but I think that would only take too much space, and we have enough sections as it is, IMO.

So, please make use of them now, it will help everyone find their way through our downloads.

To those waiting for their donation translations, especially perrine, I’m terribly sorry for being such busy with work, it’s actually been almost done for over a month now, only some minor lettering things are left. I’ll try to finish them ASAP.

Finally, after some months of work, it’s done!

It seems moneybookers have turned us down by disabling all money transfers from outside and within the USA, so their service is bleh.

We have set up a donation service based on Amazon payments, which seems to work so far, but it only works for people who are in the USA. I hope we can find an alternative soon…

I have been busy with work, trying to understand those Swiss dudes, it’s certainly hard, hope it’s over and I can get back to “normal” life soon.

I heard from Az yesterday that his moneybookers account has finally got opened(took them a while). We just need to test it out if everything works.

I have said this in the announcement post already, but if you are in the US and have a spare dollar to help us test the system, please PM me on LAH.

As for the jinjin doujin, it’s really just a matter of time, I will try to get it done this week so I can move on to other projects…

The winter theme is back on lah!

I have slightly modified last year’s winter theme to go with the donation bar that we have now, and feather-kun has made a new feather-chan to go with it. Enjoy this year’s winter!

Sorry for not updating last week, had been kind of busy, some updates

The paypal situation came to a head. and they decided that we should part ways permanantly, and locked my account indefinately. I am working on other methods for donation, so please be patient until then.

Other than that, not much else has gone on. I came down with a cold, so I feel pretty miserable today. Probably will sit back and relax, and watch some Battlestar Galactica, or catch up on Stargate Universe(a series i recommend to everyone. ;P) Sorry there’s not more today for an update, but c’est la vie.

At first I was trying to use a script font, because of the original, but as this is a pretty low resolution scan, and there aren’t any better ones around, I decided to use my standard translation font, for the sake of readability.

Here I’d like to give a word of thanks to 175h4223, who helped me immensely with the translation of this thing. Thank you very much!

I have been kinda absent recently, they are forcing us to learn a new language at work, so I have been studying a lot and didn’t really have time for anything >_<

I know some people who will be happy about this translation (apart from the ones who requested it ), so I’ll try to finish as soon as possible, while trying to hide the futa on my screen from my fiance, heh.

So even after 2 weeks, still no change in our paypal situation; i’ve sent them an email, if that fails to get them moving i’ll call them. Irritating is what this is, they’re dragging their feet with resolving our issue. Sigh

So I’ve been back posting at LAH now, doesn’t seem as lively as it used too, maybe it’s just me. really haven’t gotten around to looking at the download section, or the requests. I haven’t been in to hentai in quite a while; in fact if you were to look at my collection it’s 98 percent worksafe. Mind you, I don’t dislike the erotic, I just haven’t really focused on downloading it.

So what else.. ah yes my teeth, still hurts; still bugging the hell out of me, and i’m still too much of a wuss to go to the dentist. I know I need too, but I just can’t bring myself to do it! I’m pretty sure they’ll have to extract the tooth, it’s the back top molar, and that just ain’t cool.

So that’s all for this post, hopefully something new comes up so I can update properly. Hopefully paypal gets off it’s ass and gets this resolved with us; and lets hope i don’t have to go to the dentist after all!

So the other day a friend of mine (actually SlashingMoon from flatchan, not sure if he still is a member there.) mentioned that his fiance had a tooth ache, and she let it get bad enough that she had to go to the emergency room, I was like damn that sucks. So, a day later my teeth started to hurt, and i chalked it up to sympathy pain for his lady. well a bit of background, I have two broken teeth, and other than minor annoyance, they never bother me.

Well it’s been 3-4 days and I’m still getting jaw pain and headaches! It seems like an awfully huge coincidence, but I guess my teeth have had enough, I know i need to go to the dentist and get this taken care of! But the problem is i’m absolutely mortified of going to the dentist, I have pretty severe dental anxiety phobia stuff going on. Heck I even have trouble sleeping if i even think i need to go, much less trying to make an appointment and GO to it. I’ve been trying to find a dentist in my area that does AT THE LEAST I.V. sedation.

I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t hurt at all, their really good at numbing you up, but for someone that already has anxiety disorders. This sucks!

I figured I’d give a personal post, since the blog has the tags for it, and no one else seems willing too. So enjoy guys.

So today, to my surprise, when I woke up.  I checked my mail, saw a donation; and a few other emails from paypal.  They notified me that they had restricted access to my account.

Due to a violation of their “Acceptable Use Policy”.  We’re still not sure, 100 percent as to why they think we’re breaching it. I do have a few ideas; either A, some asshat reported us. or B, they assumed that we were selling translated manga, despite it clearly stating it’s a donation not a purchase.  We will see if this helps change their minds.

Nice eh? :/ Whatever, we’ll figure out a way around this, don’t worry guys about the donations you’ve already made, those are fine; and still under my control.

They are just limiting my ability to receive funds, and send funds with paypal, I can still withdraw the balance.

Alright, so guys I’m back at LAH, after a year of not posting (I truly had not realized it’d been that long. Since I’m always in our Skype based Chatroom.) Where to start, originally this blog was one of the things i wanted at lah, and me and Sat had wanted to incorporate it in to the site somehow, however it didn’t work out, but we came up with just running this.

It’s been a long four years.  Finally as most of you know we have donations open, the reason being is that LAH has become so large and popular that it’s not financially feasible for myself or Sat to pay for the site ourselves, so we rely on our members such as YOU(yes, you; yup, not the guy behind you.) to help us out. It doesn’t have to be any large amount, in fact we’d prefer a large number of small donations, than one huge donation. we don’t want to put pressure or strain anyone! we deeply

So as for this blog, I’m pretty much dedicated to making it anything lolicon related, such as news, anime, reviews, that sort of thing of anything lolicon related, it’s possible that off topic stuff will appear here. I’ll TRY to make at least one post a week. I can’t promise that, but I’ll try to make it a weekly routine, Sat feel free to smack me on this, if you notice i haven’t posted.

Other then that guys, uh.. please leave comments, we like those.
